Nathan caught Liz giving a warm smile. He swore he felt his heart skip a beat when he did, his cheeks getting a bit red. Wonderful, the beer had loosened him up enough for him to express facial emotions. For a moment he realized it had been a long while since he brought any woman back to his place. While his place wasn't messy, some of the things he picked up during his travels were a bit 'out there'. Oh well, he'll cross that bridge when he came to it.
"I don't think they'll mind..." Nathan said with an 'aside' tone. Vagabond weren't usually the best choice to delivery packages and/or mail. But he needed the money at the moment, assuming the Geologist Society were going to pay him with more 'Shiny Rocks'. At least the weather had cooled down by the time the two stepped out. It seemed everyone had plans of their. Joggers just enjoying the brief respite of cooled weather, a Spinda Pokemon running about after a fall. It was a nice change of pace, getting to enjoy the city life before the call of adventure grabbed him once more.
After about thirty or so minutes, they had arrived at the postal office. From the looks of things, they were getting ready to hand things over to the evening-shift. A few Noctowls were resting outside, wings tucked around their front as their puffy chests moved ever so softly. As Nathan entered through the front, he was quickly bombarded with questions.
"Nathan, we expected you over an hour ago! It was a simple delivery, so what took you so long!?" A man called from the counter, a pile of letters was in front of him.
"Sorry Makun, I got caught up..." He said with a bit of a sheepish tone, which caused the man from the counter to look at Liz. After a moment, a wolfish grin came on him as he shifted his eyes back to Nathan.
"Ah... I can see why." He said with an almost cockish tone in his voice. He disappeared into the back for a moment, before coming back out with a small clip of money. From the looks of things it appeared to be a clip of twenty 100 pokedollars.
"Here you go, you two enjoy yourself now." Makun said, adding a deep chuckle before he resumed his mail sorting.
