The clinic was a nice little building on a nice little street, with a nice little pink tulip in the window to the waiting room. A professional sign read 'Moonstone Clinic'; clearly, he was not good with names. At least it looked clean and not shady. The building, like many others, had a second floor, which was likely a living area for the good Doc and his pokemon. Convenient! A simple glass door restated the clinic's name, their operating hours, contact information, and the doctor inside. Ivan Moonstone, Jimmy's 'brother' and creator.
And the only one who might have a clue what the nervous pokemorph standing outside was.
Not that it was easy to tell that Amber was anything but a shy human girl, anyway, with the big floppy straw hat covering her nubs and the long, light blue sundress with cute little white flowers on the bottom covering her tail. Careful hair placement kept her necktube from being too noticeable...It had worked so far, at least. The Spritzee on her shoulder helped draw attention away from it, too, being pink and adorable. Said Spritzee released a calming herbal scent to soothe her nervous trainer, makig adorable cooing noises as she did so. A Slowking looked up at her patiently, and to an outsider, both seemed to stay quiet.
-Are you ready, Amber?- -....No, not really, but I'll try.- The Slowking smiled. -It'll be fine. Now, come on. I can do the talking for now until you're ready.-
The pair entered the clinic, hit by a wave of cool air; refreshing after the humid tropical climate. Simple chairs with some padding were set up against the walls, with tables and shelves holding various things. Books, casettes, magazines, tissue boxes, cassettes, medical pamphets, casettes...There were a LOT of cassettes, and all of them seemed to be shopping lists. Some were dated a while back, too. You'd think he'd start re-using them or something. The tulip in the window also turned out to be a sticker.
The Slowking went up to the plain front desk - which had more cassettes and pamphets - and flashed a smile at the Blizzey nurse working there. "Hello. I'm Archimedes King, and this is my companion Amber. Dr. Moon should be expecting us...Jimmy referred us here and said he'd call ahead."
